It removes the physical limitation of what you can reach and how consistently you can bait a spot. The fish still have to want to feed - you still have to put them there. Think of it the same way you’d think about bite alarms, GPS fish finders, or any other modern tackle. It’s a tool. Use it well and it changes results.
